Hey there, I'm Ruth, want to know a bit about the person behind these tasty creations? Well, I'm not a chef by any means. After getting a Math degree in London and diving into a PhD at the University of Washington, I found myself on a path that others called safe—jobs in universities and research. But honestly, academic research didn't light a fire in me. I sort of ended up there because, you know, it seemed safe and met my parents' expectations.

Back in college, I used to daydream about having a restaurant, but that felt like a far-off fantasy. Fast forward to now, and guess what? I've decided to shake things up. Instead of the safe route, I'm diving into something I love—serving up tasty, quality food with clean ingredients. Life's too short not to chase your foodie dreams, right?

I'm that person who really cares about what goes into my body. The regular commercial smell and texture of mass-produced burger buns or the lingering artificial fragrance in every bite of a donut?
